How Can severe Squamous Cell Carcinoma Be Treated?

I was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma four years ago. I did not allow the deeper and wider removal of tissue. I have had no further treatments. I have painful similar sensations in area of cancer but can see nothing on skin surface. I have begun to have irregular bleeding vaginally. Btw the cancer was on location very near vulva. Should I be concerned?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

We will try to help you in the best way possible. First of all, it's sad to know what you had been going through lately.

Based on the history you have shared, you must discuss other options if you don't want extensive surgical removal.

Other options like radiotherapy can be discussed to limit the spread or restrict the squamous cell carcinoma.

Complete blood counts and haemoglobin levels should be monitored with such frequent bleeding episodes.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
